Honda Brio
Honda is all set to launch the mid-size hatchback Brio in the India market on the 27th of September 2011. We recently drove the car extensively in Vishakapatnam and came back mighty impressed.
The Indian Brio looks exactly like the Thailand version expect for some changes like ground clearance and desing of the alloy wheels. From the outside, the Brio is definately one of the best looking hatchbacks in the Indian market. While its front end might be small and sharp looking, from the rear, the Brio is in a league of its own. It surely looks the best when seen from the rear three quarters.
Like is the case with most Honda products, the Brio also follows the "Man Maximum, Machine Minimum" concept and surprises you with the kind of space it has on the inside. The quality of plastics on the insides is also of a higher order as compared to some of the rivals in the same segment
The Indian Brio, as expected, will come with a de-tuned version of the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that powers the Jazz as well. It produces 88PS of power which is exceptionally very good for this segment. We drove the car both in city as well as highway conditions and least to say, it came out as a brilliant powertrain. It is smooth, has enough low end punch and on the highways, feels relaxed at 110-120km/h. The Brio also has an ARAI ceritified fuel economy of 18.4kmpl!
The Brio will go on sale on the 27th of September and we feel Honda will price it at around the Rs 4 lakh mark, thus making it one of the best value for money cars in its segment!

I am a auto expert with 18 years experience.
If really you have to buy a car then go for Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 or 1.4 desiel.
Or Chevortlet Beat.
At present these are only two cars are good in looks,value for money in terms of space ,length and width Punto is number one and will cost you at 4.25 Lakhs.Where you will get the same cost also with Beat.
please dont go with I10 or Maruti Ritz as both the cars looks life auto Rikhshwa.even to that extent ford figo is useless car and no re sale value.
In terms of VW polo,its good but the only drawback is service and parts as there parts are costly and service stations are less so very difficult if it come to repair or breakdown.

Will Honda Launch BRIO Automatic in India?
I am looking for Automatic Hatch and found Micra and Honda Brio good interms of mileage also because of CVT/iVTEC transmissions in these AT cars.
i10 AT is ruled out.

Give more views of the car in isometric view and with different colours with interiers inside so that the person who looks for more details. also give zoomed details of interiers and important engine items and additional accessories which you are offering in the price range the car is going to launch. The base price around 5 laks..so on road price would come to approx 6.5..this turns out to be costlier than volk\'s polo and hyundai i10..One good thing abt this car is the height of car is more than the latter 2 giving good head space for the passengers

My favorite cars of Honda are city , Civic & accord !! Honda is much better than Toyota , Volkswagen , chevrolet , hyundai .. Look at the other company's car designs are not bold , aggressive ,sporty & most important feature giving in honda is paddle shift transmission while other automobile companies don't offer the paddle shift automatic transmission , paddle shift transmission means car is young & sporty so never think about the other automobile company's car bcoz Honda is power of dreams !!! Brilliant designs created by Honda . Me & my all relatives have Honda is specially civic - it drives you & accord . Me & my all relatives are proud owners of Honda family . Thank you Honda . One request from Honda plz in upcoming & future designs of honda specially civic bcoz civic is a sports car name so make him extremely sporty from interior & exterior , I hope Honda will launch the upcoming model of civic is sporty from inside & outside same to accord & city bcoz I love sports cars . Honda had already made a big mistake in pricing of Jazz & finally Jazz is almost no where in the competition.Now this is the second tryal of Honda to enter in compact hatch backs so the base/standard version must start from about Rs 3.5 Lacs & highest/Top variant must also not cross about Rs 5.25 Lacs if really they want to enter & stay in this segment.

Honda as usual is not making sense in pricing.They have returned back to price reduction policy in Honda city only when their so called top selling mid sedan faced competition from Volkswagon Vento & Totota Etios.They reduced the price of Honda city from about Rs 9.50 Lacs to Rs 7.49 Lacs. Their second blunder mistake was in Honda Jazz which was totally not making any, any sense & thereafter they again reduced the price by about Rs 1.50 Lacs so this way Honda is not worth at all because their price can be reduced by any extent making people unhappy & upset who bought their products at higher prices.I am feeling cheated as I bough Jazz @ Rs 6.90 lacs & now it is available @ Rs 5.5 lacs & hence I lost my fith from Honda.
Friend, never go for Honda.

Dear Friends, You all have written so many comments about this I am a auto expert with 18 years experience. If really you have to buy a car then go for Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 or 1.4 desiel. Or Chevortlet Beat. At present these are only two cars are good in looks,value for money in terms of space ,length and width Punto is number one and will cost you at 4.25 Lakhs.Where you will get the same cost also with Beat. please dont go with I10 or Maruti Ritz as both the cars looks life auto Rikhshwa.even to that extent ford figo is useless car and no re sale value. In terms of VW polo,its good but the only drawback is service and parts as there parts are costly and service stations are less so very difficult if it come to repair or breakdown. Will Honda Launch BRIO Automatic in India? I am looking for Automatic Hatch and found Micra and Honda Brio good interms of mileage also because of CVT/iVTEC transmissions in these AT cars. i10 AT is ruled out. I did see BRio photo gallery in Honda india website showing Automatic gearbox but Can someone confirm whether Honda will launch AT version of Brio in India?

The base price around 5 laks..so on road price would come to approx 6.5..this turns out to be costlier than volk\'s polo and hyundai i10..One good thing abt this car is the height of car is more than the latter 2 giving good head space for the passengers

Look at the other company's car designs are not bold , aggressive ,sporty & most important feature giving in honda is paddle shift transmission while other automobile companies don't offer the paddle shift automatic transmission , paddle shift transmission means car is young & sporty so never think about the other automobile company's car bcoz Honda is power of dreams !!! Brilliant designs created by Honda . Me & my all relatives have Honda is specially civic - it drives you & accord . Me & my all relatives are proud owners of Honda family . Thank you Honda . Honda familys what about jazzzzzzzzzzzz market.So dont expect 2 much. MAINTENANCE 0 BUT COST OF THE ALL VEHICLE PRICING HIGHER THAN OTHERS. BUT NIKHIL WORDS APT COST WISE AND PERFORMANCE LUK WISE BEAT BEST CAR NOW COMPNY LPG AVAILABLE.

I cant accept Nikhil statement how come you say that Ford Figo is useless in what way u compare it.I own Figo and almost done 60k KM only the head room is not comfortable for rear seater.You said Punto is good but y its not that much sold out.
