Maruti Cervo
India's leading car maker Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch its compact car Cervo by the end of this year. The 5-door car will be equipped with 54bhp 660cc engine.
Maruti Cervo is likely to look similar to Honda Fit. The car will resemble Swift or SX4 in interior design. Other features of the car include a K6A DOHC engine with VVT, 4-speed auto gearbox and bluetooth capability. Cervo has already been launched in Japan and has turned out to be a success there. The car is expected to be priced between 2 Lakh to 3 Lakh.

Alteast the maruti cars don't burn in the middle of the road like Tata Nanos.
Tata and reliable don't go hand in hand. Also every tata car after 2 years becomes like a Tata truck , noisy and a nuisance on the road.
Infact it is not even fit for taxis as it spoils the image of India. Mahindra Logan is better as a Taxi.

MARUTI CERVOS DESIGN IS BETTER BUT ENGINE LITTLE PROBLEM I M THINKING THAT MARUTI VAN IS THAN THIS WHY BECAUSE IN MARUTI VAN HAS 796cc ENGINE AND THIS CAR MUST BE AT 2.50 LACS NOT MORE THAN 2.50 LACS AND IT MUST BE DIESEL CAR AND AVERAGE SHOULD BE UP TO 20 TO 22 KM/L.

A 54bhp 660cc car at 2-3 lakhs seems overpriced. it should be within the 2 lakh bracket, on-road. Maruti Suzuki needs to hit back the Nano storm thats about to hit them.

It seems to be a nice looking, comfortable, economic in fuel and cost, but only one disadvantage of less engine power, minimum power required is 800cc to 1000cc, with AC requirement. In the initial new stage period, it will be ok, but after period of one year and above, it will become weak, and will be sick,and will give you new and fresh trouble, every now and then, and you will feel tired to do the needful repairs and replacement every now and then. If you are looking for long term usage and trouble free maintenance, your wise decision on purchase of new car is of utmost important, according to my knowledge and many years of experience, in automobile usage. In my knowledge HONDA will be the advisable. Good luck for Your own good

The car is too good to look at .However the engine capacity should be around 800 CC to 1100 CC. And also the on-road price should be around 2.5 lac to 3.5 lac(for top end model).

This is an awesome cute car.Finally,the stylish car (CERVO)as a replacement for Maruti 800 and Alto is yet to arrive.It's on road price can be between Rs.2.1lac-Rs.2.6lac.Apart from SWIFT,RITZ,we are going to have CERVO which is more stylish at affordable price.This is wonderful work from them.Mileage is not mentioned for this car,hopefully it may give between 18-20kmpl.Finally,the boring very simple ALTO will be replaced which doesn't worth it's price.

I like the design it looks great but what I am concern is the power which is just 660cc. For me these type of design cars, the power should be between 800cc to 1000cc,which goes well with the AC.

cc means the capacity of the engine not the power. power is denoted by brake horse power bhp .. if they can churn out more bhp from smaller engine what is bad.. see pulsar and yamaha rx . both have 150 engine but churn out differnt bhp... i guess its an maruti 800 coming back from dead

Alteast the maruti cars don't burn in the middle of the road like Tata Nanos. Tata and reliable don't go hand in hand. Also every tata car after 2 years becomes like a Tata truck , noisy and a nuisance on the road. Infact it is not even fit for taxis as it spoils the image of India.this car given the very good responce in indian market.

Cervo is looking good in exterior and interior, But launching in india is very much doubtful, because this chat chain is going past 2 two years but still there is no official announce from maruthi. Cervo will rule the indian car market if they release the car in 2 lac to 2.5 lac with all features. Peoples are having so much expectation on launching the cervo in india. price will around 2.5Lak but in HDFC Site shows
as around 3Lak.If price is 3Lak mean then it goes
upto 4lak when comes out of showroom.Then no use

Maruti Cervo is real competitor for TATA Nano. Which is having K6 Petrol .6 Engine with 54Bhp. When compared to nano or other varients of maruti itself. this vehicle is having a good mileage of 26-28 Km/Litre and more powerful than Both 800 and Alto. Style is also nice, very similar to Zen Estilo. the price would be near to 2.30 Lacs on Road for full option Vehicle..

Alteast the maruti cars don't burn in the middle of the road like Tata Nanos. Tata and reliable don't go hand in hand. Also every tata car after 2 years becomes like a Tata truck , noisy and a nuisance on the road. Infact it is not even fit for taxis as it spoils the image of India. Mahindra Logan is better as a Taxi.
This car appearance is attractive and price wise also tempting but engine capacity is 660cc in city drive with a/c what will be the pick up after a year or two.

In the initial new stage period, it will be ok, but after period of one year and above, it will become weak, and will be sick,and will give you new and fresh trouble, every now and then, and you will feel tired to do the needful repairs and replacement every now and then. If you are looking for long term usage and trouble free maintenance, your wise decision on purchase of new car is of utmost important, according to my knowledge and many years of experience, in automobile usage. This is an awesome cute car.Finally,the stylish car (CERVO)as a replacement for Maruti 800 and Alto is yet to arrive.It's on road price can be between Rs.2.1lac-Rs.2.6lac.Apart from SWIFT,RITZ,we are going to have CERVO which is more stylish at affordable price.This is wonderful work from them.Mileage is not mentioned for this car,hopefully it may give between 18-20kmpl.Finally,the boring very simple ALTO will be replaced which doesn't worth it's price.

Alteast the maruti cars don't burn in the middle of the road like Tata Nanos. Tata and reliable don't go hand in hand. Also every tata car after 2 years becomes like a Tata truck , noisy and a nuisance on the road. Infact it is not even fit for taxis as it spoils the image of India.this car given the very good responce in indian market.

well i have been reading about this car for more than a year now, but there is absolutely no news of it releasing at all!!!was supposed to be launched last year..then it was said maybe around june 2011..now they say year end..i guess theyr not keen on launching it as its a low price car....tired of waiting for it...

This car is nice only Q is what is the meter speed of car, what is mileage?, and if the car hase speed 140km/hr and milage of 25kmpl with 900cc and car is under price range 2L to 3L, then this car can be the market grabber and will defeniately overtake the sale of any small car in this segment.

Maruti Cervo is real competitor for TATA Nano. Which is having K6 Petrol .6 Engine with 54Bhp. When compared to nano or other varients of maruti itself. this vehicle is having a good mileage of 26-28 Km/Litre and more powerful than Both 800 and Alto. Style is also nice, very similar to Zen Estilo. the price would be near to 2.30 Lacs on Road for full option Vehicle..
