| Sir,
I had purchased a TATA - Indigo CS GLX car from TATA Commercial Baidhan MP (Authorized dealer) the agent Mr. Prayag Rag Dubey an registered agent of same.
Mr.Prayag Dubey booked my vehicle on 10th of Sept.09 & promised the delivery within 15 days, & also assured in written to provide following at the time of delivery
1. Music system worth Rs 10000/- with four speakers
2. Body cover
3. Seat Cover
4. Wheel cover
5. Perfume
6. Seat cover
7. Insurance
8. Registration of UP for which he charged Rs 14000/- ( approx)
But with regret he deliver the car on 15th Oct & papers on 31st Oct 09at 5.00PM with out registration after where as registration charges were increased by 6% from 2.5%by .Govt.on 1st of Nov 09. & without following accessories.
- No Music System
- No Body Cover
- No Perfume
After contacting the DGM TATA Commercial Mr. Shahnawaj Khan & in charge Car Section Mr. Mahendra Singh informed that we are not responsible for the same where agreed that Mr. Mahendra Singh is my employee.
So, doe to not falling the commitment of an authorized agent of such a big dealer of renowned TATA, I had to face such a heavy mental tension & extra burden of
- Extra cost of Rs 14000/- for registration
- Music System of Rs 10000/- for Music System
- Perfume Valued Rs 150/-
- Body Cover Valued Rs 1000/-
- The Supplied Battery also get discharge after 2-3 day contacted Exide Dealer told that it is Duplicate
I hope you will look in to it & take suitable necessary action against such agents & recover my loss. & accordingly will respond me at earliest.

| Here in Central America Suzuki is one of the top selling vehicles and the Vitara is just a Sidekick with less off road ability and slicker body and interior. Good 4 wheel drive, fewer protective plates under (just the gas tank) and less ground clearence. But much nicer on the pavement. The 2000cc motor is close to double the HP of the 1600 and burns only a bit more gas. When driven at 45mph(75kph) fuel consumption is the same or better than the Sidekick) But at U.S. highway speeds, 70mph+ it eats it right up. But few roads permit safe 70mph(116kph) speeds here so the issue is moot. I'm not sure what makes an interior 'stupid' but I'd not use stupid to describe Vitaras interior. Some things I'd like different but overall a good compromise. I especially like the new back seat fold down system. I think the center console is poorly designed but not exactly 'stupid'. I'd rather have a closed box instead of more cup holders but I guess gringos need lots of them so they can concentrate on their phone calls while they speed along at 75mph and still have a hand or two free to read a book or watch TV. Maybe. |
