| Believe me just take a test drive of this car and u will not require to discuss any thing..in agree with WINN, he wuld agree with me..i10 is a good car but very out dated ..tryig to play with Indian psychy by providing Beige interiors which are now out dated ..India with more younger population and also with more than one car in family A-star is the right urban fit...and believe me cars of similar fashion are the future of Indian roads...which has city driving pleasure as well as Tashan of owning a sporty car... |

| I would suggest u to wait until maruti slashes the price of A star by 30000/- which is inevitable. Otherwise if u have 4.2 lac budget, go for i10 magna (kappa)blindfoldedly. A star is a good car with great engine, good exterior and above all maruti brand. but my friend the back seat/door window is very crampy and boring plastic and colour makes it downmarket. Hence paying 4 lac is nothing but stupidity, |

| Hello everyone and happy holi to all of you. WINN I read your comments on Maruti A Star and was a bit confused. Regarding Milage and Style I agree with you, but regarding comfort well - did you consider the people who will ride in your car. Your Family members. Man they will be crumpled for space. Even the Rear window is so pigmy shaped. It gives a good space for the driver. For the Driver this is a good car but not for the people who seats in this car. Therefore this is not at all a family car. Its OK for College boys and girls who are generally a bit thinner and loves speed, but not for the family peoples, because afterall my family matters much to me and if I buy a car in which my family will not be comfortable then what is the use of buying such a car. So sorry boss. I did not agree with you.
Well according to me Hyundai i10 1.2Kappa is an excellent car. The interior is fabulous - like a five star hotel. The car is also spacious. Regarding milage, not as good as A-Star, but not bad - 17.2 in Highroads and 12.5 within the city, which means about 13.6 average milage compared to A-Star - 19.6 Highroad, and no information for within the city.
But again everyone has his own choices. So Good luck everyone with their own car.

| my dear frnd this is not a famliy car its a city car ..for singles an all.its best when i am driving my zxi..she is giving me 22 km/p ,in city.i am glad i have one Astar.Frd i 10 is nothing in front of suzuki tech.the 800 has a better moter than i10 any day.as it has a 32 bit chip prosser to do the thinking for it,,an i10 has only a 10 bit one well so i dont need to tell u any thing els ,as ur gettin an old tech when u buy a i10 ,,as comp to an 800 also ,Astar is far ahead in tech in every manner than a i10..clear ur facts pick up the any auto mag with the Astar i10 comprn..ull know for ur self. City car can also be family car. 2. a star got "car of the year 2008 tag' from J.D.POWER3.Getting 22 kmpl in city is just a cooked up story and even maruti people will admit that this is the funniest joke of the year.4. People buy car not for thinking but for performing and pleasure of ride. even a chienese mobile phone has 32 bit processr.5. For your information pick up Overdrive, Auto car where i10 got 5 star rating.6. So stop living in fools paradise and wake up man!! |

| I agreed with u sanjay. I 10 has far far better than a-star. i10 has 4 cylinder 1200cc engine but in a-star it has only 1000cc, 3 cylinder engine. hyundai has launched their all aluminium technology almost 3 years back. But maruti launched this technology in kseries engine 1 year back to beat hyundai cars but they cant ever. A-star has a good fuel economy but it is not good on highways. Rear seats are cramped not suited for five peoples. So i suggests to all people to r going to buy a-star that better go for i10 (IRDE) Great looks better than stupid designs of maruti like as u see in wagon r, A-star nd now in zen estilo. |
