 Compare this car with the previous Swift. Spotted the differences? What’s the matter with you? The new car is clearly 90mm longer , has an extra 50mm in the wheelbase , and features ESP as standard. Tsk. Must try harder.
Is such a subtle refluff going to be enough to last a full model cycle? ‘We think so , ’ says Suzuki styling director Tetsuya Ozasa. ‘You see , Swift and Jimny are our two icons which must not undergo radical visual alterations.’ And Suzuki’s European president Minoru Amano agrees: ‘With 4.2m units built so far , the Swift is our best-seller. It would be foolish to mess with this successful formula.’ Sheesh , this isn’t the 911 we’re talking about. But you get a sense of how important this car is.
And the new Swift is a better car. The body is stiffer and safer , the brand-new chassis feels more agile with no ride penalty , the engines are cleaner , and the recalibrated steering is quicker and more accurate.  Shame about the asthmatic 1.2 VVT engine. It’s the only engine available at launch , but the 1.3 DDiS diesel engine follows early next year.
Despite its name the Swift isn’t a quick car , but the steering certainly is quick , and body control has been improved without any fall-off in grip or traction. The car strikes a better balance between instant feedback and progressive compliance. The old car was fun to drive; this one’s better again. Ergonomically the Swift actually eclipses even the new Audi A1 , and the seats are superb. Build quality and refinement are also pretty impressive for a car that should start at sub-Rs 5 lakh. It will be a hit.

I have a swift diesel bought in July 2011. I have now done 11000 k.m. Beyond doubt it is a beautiful machine.Real charm to drive very easy to overtake . First 5000 sure is engine worm up time. When I start getting 14 k.m.per liter in Bangalore. I was expecting 17 k.m.per liter.hope I get it after this final free service within 1 year 10,000 k.m. Inder Talwar

I wanna to buy either Swift or Dzire, but confused. Dzire only for its look which is better than Swift, otherwise Swift is definitely better in overall.

MAruti Swift car is the best pick in this segment. Just dont think anything and blindly go for Swift.

I just hope maruti goes one better and bring in the new swift 2011 convertable , cause that will be the game changer for low cost sporty cars which are affordable And serviced by muruti all around india, that should be cool...

Swift Vxi is the best in segment. Pickup is excellent don't waste time just go for it. I bought the same on 21st Sept and i am in love with that.

Maruti swift is the best look car in his segment. Maruti is already proven his architecture in India in terms of Manufacturing and Service network. Its advisible to go for Swift Diesel Version. Petrol is not good option and mileage is low also.

I want used maruthi swift LDI at eairlest. My estimation is from 2lak to 3 laks. The model is 2010. We have seen from the site so pls process our request soon.
